Here I am, Here I am! (Child stands up).

How are you today, friend?

Very well, Ithank you.

Welcome back! (Wave to the child).

Well come back.

Hello [Kelly]!

Hello [Mark]!

All my friend are here with me.

Encourage  children to join you in the cheer.

How did you feel when you woke up this morning?

Happy, sad, or kind of boring?

No that we’re together,

We’ll fell our best today!

We’ll have lots of fun with friends,

And we’ll laugh and play.

Hip, hip, hooray!

Hip, hip, hooray!

Dino at the Door

As students arrive, pretend you are welcoming dinosaurs into your classroom.

I opened up the door

To let a student in.

Instead, I saw a dinosaur,

With a toothy grin!

It raised its claws

And stomed about

And roared a migty roar!

Oh no!

I hear anotrher one

Knocking at our door!

Good Morning

Sinf to the tune of  ”The Farmer in the Dell”

The morning sun is up,

The stars have gone away.

And all my friends have come to school

To read and learn and play.

So hang your jackets up,

And put your things away.

Now that we are all at school,

It’s time to start our day!
